Our car was doing fine when we came from Belfast and went to London until we arrived in Edinburgh to stay for some nights our car made a rattling/humming noise from below in traffic we didn't know what was causing this noise so we went home and didn't use the car for 2 days because it was weekend and we were too controversial to use the car due to it making that noise. So then after that 2 days we called the AA we also noticed a punchered tire so we asked them to fix it. After they fixed it we told them about the noise coming from the bottom they didn't know what it was so the same day we went to Abbeyhill garage to fix the problem. after we came back the problem was fixed shorter than we expected and we were relived and the best part is they charged us a very good reasonable price they were very honest, professional, friendly people. I give credits to a man named Peter probably a very professional working man he saved our journey and I'm guessing he is the boss god bless you Peter and your work.
Highly recommend. After an awful experience with another local garage I found Abbeyhill Garage online as I am not from the area. They recovered my vehicle and had the problem located and fixed within a few hours. Peter a huge thank you from me, 110% customer service and you restored my faith proving that there are some amazing garages out there. Thanks again for a great job done and at a very reasonable price.
Can't really praise them enough... There are always so many stories going around about rogue car dealers/mechanics that finding a reliable, courteous, competitively priced and local garage is a real pleasure. I have been back now 5 times over the last 4 years for MOT's on 3 different cars. The staff have always been friendly and willing to explain what needs doing. The thing that sold it for me the first time and subsequently when walking past (which i do 2 or 3 times a week) is that they are always busy. It doesn't seem to stop them being able to fit me in at my convenience, not theirs. I would definitely recommend this garage as a centrally located, convenient, independent gem!
