Got the MOT done elsewhere, car failed & brought it here for repairs. Really frustrated when I came to collect: told me on the phone they were open till 5.30pm, but when I turned up to collect, garage all locked up, lights off. They called me the next day & apologised - no excuses, just a straightforward apology. And offered to do the MOT for free. Gave me a detailed invoice (the other garage promised to do the repairs at less than half the cost but when I saw Abtech’s invoice, I realised that couldn’t possibly have been accurate). So once I calmed down, I realised they are still as reliable & trustworthy as my friend originally told me. One small slip-up over the collection, but they were quick to apologise and I appreciate that. Ultimately I trust them to make my car safe and tell me the truth, and that is what counts
Very friendly experience. I have a car with Ukrainian license plate and I needed to do an MOT check. Ancaster Hyundai Catford told me to do it in a local garage because they “have never done foreign cars before”. Guys at this garage did the check according to the recommended procedure with no problem. Very grateful.
I have been using this garage for several years both for servicing and MOT’s and have never had a bad experience. Both Kenneth and John are very helpful, efficient and honest and they never drag a job out longer than necessary. I would recommend this garage over any other.
