Booked my T5 in for poor starting, my normal service garage told me glow plugs required, they would not touch job for fear of them snapping. On a recommendation I went to Chester Clutch. They carried out basic diagnosis to find only issue was only a knackered battery. I feared the worst of a big bill, didn't get any bullshit just honest report on the problem. Didn't even get hard sell on new battery. Changed the battery myself from a supplier they recommended, job done. Will use again going forward, would give 5 stars but for me there location is an issue. Thanks
Have Honda Civic mk8. Had clutch problems, 1st time I have used this garage, dropped car off Friday was fixed by Saturday. Replaced master cylinder, battery and hydraulic fluid. Excellent price and communication. Honest, friendly service, I will definitely be going back. Plus it's good to support an independent business.
Unreal service - dropped my car off first thing in the morning, had it worked on new clutch fitted and other bits and picked up by end of day. They were even accommodating with me around work. Can’t reccomend highly enough 👍
Fisrt time using chester clutch and service. My usual mechanic suggested replacing dual mass flywheel and clutch on my 2016 ford c max 1.5 tdci as it was showing signs of failing sooner rather than later. I had several quotes, some rediculous, but David gave me a very competitive price. 12 months 12.000 miles warranty. Responded quickly to all my questions. Booked in and job done in a morning. Super guys to deal with, courteous and explained everything. Its only a day since fitting but car runs smoothly now, gear changes as new. Great job and great service, would highly recommend Chester clutch and service. .
After losing all faith with our local garage for 1 reason or another. We was recommended chester clutch & Service. We spoke to Liam at chester clutch & service, who booked my son's car in for a day that worked for us to have a new clutch, flywheel and slave cylinder fitted. We was able to drop the car off the night before. (Their compound is secure and gated) I recieved a txt early afternoon the following day to say the job was completed and ready for collection. Its a bonus to see photos of damaged components. Communication 5* Knowledge 5* Competitive rates 5* We will 100% be using their services again and would have the confidence to recommend them to family and friends
