from 132 reviews on GoogleTook my 9+ year old Mazda 3 to Fergussons for a second opinion on an engine oil pressure and engine management light after I felt a mobile mechanic gave me a terminal diagnosis for my engine unjustifiably. I have never used them before, and speaking with Greg gave me confidence that I would get an honest opinion of the fault after they performed diagnostics. They diagnosed that it was likely an issue with the oil showing as dirty, but the fault was intermittent, and there was no signs of a serious issue and the engine was running OK. So I took their advice to have a flush and an oil and filter change (and some further advice should it return, and advice that would not actually given them any more money). This gave me 700 miles before the warnings came back. Greg offered to take another look a couple of days later, which he did at no charge, and gave me lots of advice and suggestions of what to do next by speaking with Mazda as Fergussons' contacts in the community suggested that there may be a known issue with this engine of this age, and so whilst they could keep chasing and replacing an issue, it could end up with me spending more money than going to the dealer, and not having the same level of warranty for parts and labour. Greg and his team could have just had me keep coming back spending money, but have given me great service, advice, and suggestions from just the diagnostics cost. The saga of my Mazda 3 continues, because of Mazda having a LONG wait time to be seen and repaired, and I have been keeping in contact with Fergussons to let them know the outcome and issue found, with hopeful resolution. During the saga of my personal car, I was loaned a work pool car, that was a 12 year old Ford Focus. I broke down on the M23 due to a snapped drive belt, and I decided to get recovered to Fergussons, and they did checks as to the cause and replaced the auxiliary drive belt that day and I was able to collect before full opening the next day. Cost of replacement was very good. Service has been second to none, from the work to the support, and they have got themselves a new customer that will stay, and I have only gone to Mazda for the (hopefully) final repair work as they have advised this would be the best for myself under these specific circumstances.
Great professional service. Booked MOT + Service at a competitive price and got my car collected and dropped back at my address for no extra charge. Very accommodating in changing my booking date (as something came up last minute and needed to postpone my booking). You’ve got one happy customer, See you definetely next year!
Great garage. Excellent service in person and via telephone, everyone was polite and super efficient. Availability to get booked in was soon after I called. Costs as expected for a service and subsequently a cambelt change and a bit cheaper than I could find online for 19" tyres.
Really nice service, in and out no problem and even changed my appointment for me with no problems either.
Took My 2007 Mini Cooper to Fergussons Auto Services due to clutch Slipping/Juddering and requiring replacement, Great friendly service, diagnosed and explained everything that was needed to be done and car now drives even better than before Even forgot MOT was due which they managed to do aswell Highly Recommend Thanks Again to Greg and His team at Fergussons Auto 👍🏽
