I phoned yesterday about 4.30pm about 2 x rear tyres for my car. The gentleman advised me to order it online as it’s much cheaper with an online discount. Took my car down for an 11am slot. I could see the forecourt was extremely busy and didn’t expect it to be done quickly. 3 hours later I was called to say the car was being fitted now and should be done within half an hour. I’ve only given four stars because I thought 3 hours was very long to wait. Not sure why I had to pay for a premium slot as it took so long?
I went in stressed after breaking down on side of road. It was a busy Sat afternoon & even though they were flat out & I had no booking , I was in & out in just over an hour when I was expecting to be waiting for hours. The team were so efficient with how they were managing all the jobs, and there was real sense of team workmanship. Great team, will definitely be back whenever I have any other car troubles.
Once again, the guys at Halfords saved our day, especially Matt, Adam and Liam. My girlfriend had a flight scheduled for 5 p.m. all the way up at Stansted. On the way we had a blowout, once we arrived at the garage the guys did a massive favour and replaced our tyre in less than 20 minutes. Exceptional service, this is the only place I’m fixing my car from now on!
What can I say, Halfords team in Guildford helped me right out. I had a blow out on my tyre and within minutes of them opening I was being served straight away and back on the road. Fast, friendly and professional highly recommend.
Last time I visited they were still a National Autocentre. Back then the staff were very friendly and helpful, honest about waiting times and keep bookings to time. A few years later and it's now a Halfords Autocentre. The staff were very positive about their new owners and took pride in their appearance despite the temperature being in minus figures. The centre was as warm as it can be, is tidy and well maintained. I observed what is possibly the most professional MOT tester I've ever seen. He clearly respected my car and did a thorough and honest MOT test. There was an opportunity to claim I needed a new exhaust section but he didn't even advise on it. Two honest advisories which again could have been exaggerated for extra work for the centre but we're just recorded as advisories. The centre manager was professional and very customer focused with the several customers that came and went during my time there. He even helped me sign up to the motoring club to help me save some money. All the staff were transfriendly and had absolutely no issue with me being transgender.
