He described to me every step of the service also, was very time efficient with both jobs, I was quoted £300 for the Full Service and MOT, was also treated to a hot cup of tea. Very good team of people, would recommend this garage to everyone
I had a fantastic experience with Ozzy and the guys. They were not only really efficient in identifying and fixing my car but kept me fully updated throughout, and were really open and honest about where I can make a saving and that gave a real feeling of trust. I’ll definitely be going back, a great local garage!
First visit for flooded break lights Ozzy quoted £50 and was done within the hour at the agreed price, all good. Second visit for MOT he called 4 hours later saying the MOT was a pass, but he'd replaced my rubber exhaust hangers (without my consent), would only charge for the parts, and I owed him an extra £80. These parts retail for under £10. Later I saw online the car initially failed the MOT for emissions, and had 2 advisories, none of which was mentioned to me. I went back to query all this. Ozzy was very friendly, refunded me the £80 without fuss, and said he'd ask in future before carrying out unsolicited work - but he didn't seem to be aware of the MOT details, and didn't answer when I asked if the MOT had been done by himself or another shop. Long story short I think Ozzy wants to do the right thing, but I also think unfair financial pressures from increasing rent and tax have driven him to look for efficiencies in places where ideal business practice occasionally takes a backseat. I would recommend him to those confident about the work they need, the price it's worth, and their willingness to haggle.
Great local Garage I’ve used them for years and they have always got me back on the road on the same day and have always been straight up with costs. I couldn’t recommend them more. Ozzy the owner is always a pleasure to deal with.
Ozzie helped me out when I was in a bind with a failing clutch. He diagnosed and fixed the problem in no time. When my car was ready, the paperwork was done in his office and I paid a fair price. Happy retirement Ozzie.
