James was recommended to me by a work colleague and he provided a quote for the proposed works . I booked in my car for the works and received a phone call from James stating I had still 40% ware left in both pads and discs thus no need to replace. I highly recommend J and J autos and will continue to use their services going forward as their an honest company that only charge you for car repairs required . Michael Brennan, Islington.

After getting a £620 quote from Halfords (Finchley) to fix a noise/fault on the wheel of my smart car - they wanted to replace the caliper, brake disc, brake pad, realign 4 wheels and then extra for brake grease - I decided to get a second opinion from a local garage. Decided to choose J&J Autos based off reviews. James (I think it was James!) said no problem, drop the car off the next morning and he will take a look. I drop the car off and after an hour he rings me back, turns out all that was needed was to give everything a very thorough clean - charged me a very reasonable rate for a check + 1-2hours of work and drove the car away the same morning. Would recommend.
Just had a full service and MOT. This garage appeared to have resolved an ongoing engine management light issue which 2 other garages weren't able to solve (and in the process I had spent about £1000 trying to fix). Very transparent with price. Very helpful, and if there are any tasks which fall outside of the scope of the garage, they give good advice on where to get the required service. As a result I learnt how to deal with various car issues which I didn't know previously. Will use again.
Being a woman I have had some bad experiences with mechanics and have always had a distrust until I used J and J Autos. I thought my beloved car was beyond repair or at least going to cost the earth to fix and no doubt get ripped off in the process as I have in the past. J and J Autos were recommended by a friend who had used them before and I can safely say my trust has been restored. The staff we all incredibly friendly, had time and patience to explain the problems my car had in layman terms to a clueless female. I had taken my car to a garage elsewhere a few weeks before to get a quote and a breakdown of all the problems it had, not only did they panic me by the expense of the quote, they reeled off a list of problems that HAD to be fixed in order for it to run properly again. As clueless as I may be I was suspicious of the amount of repairs they said had to be carried out and that's when my friend told me about J and J Autos. When my car was assessed by J&J they reassured me by saying that more than half of the problems explained by the previous garage were not essential and could easily be left for a future date. Their price was a lot less than that of the other garage. My car was returned to me in fully functioning order in a matter of days, I was expecting weeks with all the work that was needed. I was kept informed throughout the process and now I have my dear car back on the road running like a dream. Thank you to all the staff. I would highly recommend to anyone!!
