What was diagnosed by our road side recovery as a cam/timing belt breakage via the diagnostic tools used, and to be honest there was absolutely no compression from the engine, I was towed to Martyn kemps and left the keys. Travelling back to London on a grey dank evening wondering how I was going to get some money together to either replace the engine or scrap the car and look for a new one. I called in the morning to explain my dilemma, to be told what I feared would be the worst. They mentioned they were busy and only be able to look under the hood the following week. Yesterday I got a call. I was told that they couldn’t find fault with my car?…. They’d fired it up the morning of the call, driven it around, left it over the weekend and fired it up again the Monday and the car was behaving normally! To my absolute relief! It may need a battery replacement I was told but other than that come collect your car. So thank you for being honest. You should be applauded! Thank you.

Always been able to book my car in for repairs within the week. Affordable prices. Staff are professional, friendly and they talk through the diagnosis of the the car to make it easily understood. Cannot fault them. Totally recommend them to anyone wanting a decent mechanics.
