Jess and her team have done quite a few jobs on 2 cars now and she and Ethan have always gone over and above to ensure I was completely happy. Great service, I'd happily use them again 👍
Very easy to book with Jess and the team and they were able to sort my air con issues within two hours of having the vehicle at a very reasonable price and kept me updated throughout the process. Absolutely recommend their service. --- Updated review, even better than before -- After fixing air con (for quicker and cheaper than I was originally worrying about as I did imagine multiple issues as it hasn't worked for years), I started to lose gas again and was blowing hot air. Took it back and they looked at it for no charge under warranty, and found another leak in the system (it is a 10 year old car and the air con hasn't worked for about 3 years at this point). I paid for this to be fixed and it was fine again. Then I managed to lose even more gas a few weeks later and Rainbow offered to take another look at it with no charge, and even brought in external partners and went the extra steps to try and find the solution. The result was that it was likely another internal leak in a component like the compressor as there was no leaks left in the system, and the only way to resolve this would be trial and error replacement, which all in all could end up costing me more than the car is worth. They offered to do this work, but gave me advice to sell and purchase a new car. They didn't want me to leave empty handed, so looked around the car and spotted two other potentially major issues in the future that I was unaware of, solidifying the advice to sell the vehicle. It is worth noting that I had a full service done at another garage closer to where I live in Newcastle for convenience, and they did not notify me about the issues Rainbow had done for free of charge - and anyone who knows anything about how a car works could clearly see the issues once you lift the bonnet. Even I can now and I haven't got a clue about how to fix a car. It is so refreshing to find a mechanic that you can absolutely trust and feel safe using, especially as a young(ish) female it can be very intimidating and you do often feel like you can't trust mechanics in such a male-dominated industry. Rainbow have truly gone the extra mile to help me out and I couldn't be more appreciative. I have now purchased a new car I hopefully won't have any issues with, so I am quite disappointed that I won't need to use Rainbow but they will be my first port of call in the future and I am recommending them to everyone I know. They have effectively turned away my business as it isn't in MY best interests. You can't get any better than that. I have also seen on social media that they went to help out with the clean up from the Middlesbrough riots. Good people doing good work. Thank you again.
Absolutely amazing service. They dealt with my car so quickly, diagnosing and repairing a fault that had so many other mechanics at a loss. Kept me up to date with progress and made sure I fully understood exactly what was going on and how it would be fixed. Would definitely use again (hopefully won't have to)!
I was introduced to Jess by a work colleague when my car broke down and I was struggling to get a part quickly. Jess was able to order the part, book me an appointment and fit it in the same day! Outstanding customer service and very very reasonably priced. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend her to anyone looking for a quality vehicle repair technician. Thanks Jess
