I reached out to Henry, and his service was incredible from start to finish. He came out the same day I messaged him, diagnosed the problem as a faulty slave cylinder, and recovered the car the very next day. Henry had the parts ordered and fitted within two days – the turnaround time was unbelievably fast! The new clutch feels amazing to drive, and it’s clear that Henry works to the highest standards. His pricing was fair, and his efficiency and professionalism were top-notch. I’m beyond impressed with the level of service and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend him to anyone. I recently had my Audi A3 repaired by Henry at R L Automotive, and I couldn’t be more impressed with the experience. My car came in with a coolant leak, which turned out to be a water pump issue. Henry tackled the problem head-on, and I could tell right away that he was knowledgeable and experienced. What really stood out to me was Henry’s attention to detail. Not only did he perform the repairs to an incredibly high standard, but he also updated the onboard computer and Audi’s database to make sure the digital service records were properly aligned with the paperwork. This is something many places overlook, but Henry made sure everything was in order, which gives me peace of mind moving forward! The pricing was very fair, and I appreciated the transparency throughout the process. Henry clearly takes pride in his work, and it's obvious he values customer satisfaction. I’d definitely recommend R L Automotive to anyone looking for reliable and top-tier service. Thanks again, Henry!
I couldn’t recommend RL Automotive more highly. When you don’t know much about the mechanics behind cars it can be quite intimidating to know where to start…. Henry has just fixed my vehicle and he had been completely amazing from start to finish. He had kept in regular contact throughout the process, discussed options with me, kept me well informed on pricing and there were no surprise moments. All this all ultimately comes down to is trust. And I would rate RL Automotive as 100% trustworthy. Even though they’re based quite a way from where I live I will going back every time. Henry is very friendly and passionate about what he does - you feel like he really cares for your vehicle!! Which when you’re experiencing a stressful time is really important. I’d give 6 stars if could ⭐️
It was difficult for me to book my car at our previous garage before my MOT deadline so I looked up R L Automotive to see if I could book my car. He made every effort and was able to squeeze my car in for an MOT and service in his busy schedule. Communication was very good and he did a standard service and MOT. He emailed me an invoice which was easy to follow link and pay. There is ample parking at the garage to drop off the car. Would happily recommend.
Booked our MkII TT convertible with Henry for the first time to troubleshoot an intermittent squeal from the front. Henry diagnosed a binding front brake calliper and after a thoughtful discussion concerning ‘fix on fail’ versus ‘preventative maintenance’ and bearing in mind the front brakes wear the same and are subject to to the same salt/rain water environment, he went ahead and replaced and rebuilt both. The car now drives like new and brakes perfectly. Thank you Henry. We’ll look forward to bringing our TT to you regularly from now on.
