Shpetim responds to calls and emails instantly, and is very accommodating around finding a suitable time. Shpetim was able to diagnose and fix my headlight problem on the spot - I will NEVER use RAC mobile mechanics ever again.
Fantastic experience of SDS Motors and Shpetim. After a WhatsApp message, a quote and availability was provided. All my questions were answered, and the price/time quoted was honoured. I chose SDS Motors because I saw a review mentioning they had carried out a ford eco boost wet timing belt replacement - a lengthy, pricey, specialist job. Choosing the wrong mechanic for this job would be detrimental. This particular engine (Ford Fiesta Ecoboost 1.0, 99) has a common fault of the wet belt cracking prematurely, and if it snaps the car is written off. I also had a stuck coolant lid replaced. At 103k miles, I knew it was time to get it changed - and I'm glad I did as despite always using the correct oil and keeping oil levels topped up, my belt showed signs of wear and cracks. (See pictures) The ford fiesta Ecoboost timing belt was changed with a genuine ford part, and the correct engine oil was used - something not all mechanics do with these cars! My fluids were all topped up which I was not expecting too, so bonus points for true care to the craft. Great service, competitively priced and knowledgeable mechanic.
We’ve used SDS Motors a couple of times now and have been pleased. They carried out our MoT, and follow-up work was required. Shpetim explained each item carefully, and when I mentioned previous servicing, he was open and honest about which items really needed doing and which didn’t. Great to have a reliable local independent garage.
Needed to be seen that day. Called up multiple garages who only had availability for 2 weeks time. He saw me instantly, diagnosed and was ready to give it back to me same day. Great service, quick and efficient. My go-to garage in the area now!
Brake light change. Excellent communication, quote, same day pretty much immediately. I will go back for mot and service when it's due. Thank you would recommend.
