Nonetheless, I was in a hurry and someone recommended the spot for a quick MOT, so I thought, why not give it a shot? Upon meeting the owner, I found him to be well-spoken. He assured me that the MOT would be ready by 1 pm. At 12:55, he called to notify me that it was good to go. I assumed everything was fine, but to my surprise, he informed me that it had failed due to two tires and some brake discs needing replacement. Instantly, I felt a wave of worry, thinking, "This isn't good." However, upon inspecting the car, I could see the worn tires and the neglected brake discs. So, I braced myself and asked for the details. The owner was upfront about the costs, providing prices for the parts over the phone and giving a fair estimate for his labor. Despite my initial skepticism, his transparency convinced me to proceed rather than wasting time at another garage. It was a gamble, especially after checking the Google reviews and seeing a mediocre rating of 3 stars. But, I had already given the green light. To my surprise, the owner delivered on every promise flawlessly. He didn't tack on unnecessary charges or upsell unnecessary services. Despite the negative reviews, my experience was nothing short of excellent, and I'll definitely be returning in the future.
