They fitted me in around another booking late on Saturday afternoon when I turned up with no notice, checked over my car within an hour and gave me the reassurance I needed to travel. Return car journey went with no hitches. They wouldn't take a penny for this even though I was more than happy to pay for the peace of mind, which was very decent of them.

These guys are a credit to the industry, nipped in for front wheel alignment on my Citroen DS4, then unfortunately a couple of days later my drive belt snapped whilst driving, contacted them, they then fit me in the same day and had the car back on the road in a couple of hours, I’ve got many problems with my car currently including a faulty steering rack but was informed it’s not at a point that it’s concerning. These guys could have told me it needed hundreds/thousands of pounds worth of repairs and pulled the wool over my eyes like other garages, but no, great prices, honest mechanics and gives you faith back into an industry where I’ve had mainly negative experiences with being ripped off, honest, hard working people and a credit to the industry ! Got my BM recovered here after it developed a non starting problem. We went down every avenue possible to get it going again but ended up replacing the full fuel system from tank to injectors and everything in between due to contaminated fuel, nightmare!! Got the DPF and egr done while it was there and 6 weeks later (no fault on Johns side) it's back on the road like a brand new car. Cheers John and Billy

First time using AMC and the gentleman mechanic was very helpful. Had a loud noise coming from pulley area on my Meriva & car starting issue. Turns out it was the AC, as the car is old he bypassed with a smaller belt saving me a fortune on a new AC unit. Noise gone! Unfortunately he thought that may of been the starting issue, sadly it wasn't & starting issue continued. However can't fault them at all & great price. Only issue was they don't accept credit cards & as funds low atm till I get paid. I had to take care to a different garage to sort out start issues unfortunately. But can't fault the overall service, price & friendly staff. Would certainly recommend if paying cash or by debit card.

A good price and dealt with in an efficient manner. Staff, whilst thin on the ground, dealt with me as soon as they were able and completed the task well within the advised time scales. I requested that new tyres were placed on wheels at the front of the car and then the new tyres installed on the rear. Also required the back wheel balanced prior to installing on the front. Technician advised of additional cost and undertook the required jobs. Provided with a Digital Health check print out of my car prior to the work commencing, something I hadn’t expected’ together with the receipt for full payment, including that paid online. Car returned to me in the same condition as when I brought in for the job.
