Price Match Promise

If you book a service or repair through Fixter.co.uk, we’ll match an equivalent price from elsewhere in your local area (“Price Match Promise”), subject to the following terms and conditions:

Any equivalent quote/price (the “Comparison”) must have been obtained in writing prior to making a booking through Fixter.co.uk (the “Website”) and not more than 14 days prior to the booking date on the Website

Any Comparison must be like-for-like and satisfy the following criteria:

  1. Comparison must include parts and labour for the work to be performed

  2. Parts must be new and original equipment ("OE") equivalent and stated as such on the Comparison

  3. Comparison option must be located within 5 miles of your home postcode

  4. The garage offering the service must be VAT registered

  5. Comparison must be for the same work to be performed on the same vehicle, not as part of a wider bundle offer

  6. Comparison must not include any offsets or discounts that are personal to the individual – i.e. the Comparison must be one that is available to any potential customer and not provided by an operator that is in the process of closing down or an administration

Any additional work that is required to be performed outside the original job booking and content of the Comparison will not be covered by the Price Match Promise

If the Comparison is considered like-for-like, we will pay you the difference between the Comparison and the lowest quote offered to you on our Website for the job that you had completed (the “Price Match”)

If other aspects of the Comparison are not considered like-for-like, we reserve the right to decline any Price Match.

To claim for the difference in price between the lowest quote offered on our Website for your booking and the Comparison, email support@fixter.co.uk within 14 days of completing your booking on the Website with the following information:

Scanned PDF copy of the Comparison, complete with:

- the letterhead/address of the garage

- the vehicle details (make/model/year/registration number)

- the work to be performed

- confirmation that new OE equivalent parts would be used

- split of labour and parts cost as part of the price breakdown denoted in pounds sterling

- the date of the quote/price (not to be more than 14 days prior to the booking made on the Website)

 - scanned PDF copy of the invoice for completed work against the booking you made through the Website, complete with:

- the letterhead/address of the garage

- the VAT registration number of the garage

 - Your contact details (telephone number and address)

We reserve the right to withdraw this Price Match Promise or change these terms and conditions at any time. The amended terms and conditions shall take effect on the date they are put online on the website and shall apply to any request submitted on the website from the time they are put online. We reserve the right to refuse a Price Match where we suspect fraud. 

The Price Match Promise applies to the UK only. If your claim is successful, we will send you a payment for the Price Match. Please make sure to read the other terms and conditions on the Website, which apply at all times.
