Communications from the garage were polite and straightforward. I’d originally requested the pickup from 9.30 to 11, but when the garage phoned to confirm, they initially wanted it at 8.30. However, we negotiated after 9pm, but he turned up a bit after 9.30 anyway. I did and paid on line, something I am normally very cagey about doing. With some other garages for an MOT / Service, you get a visual or video of the problem, but nothing on this occasion. How do I know the part really needed replacing? I have to take their word. The main attraction of Fixter was the pickup and return service and a good price. I was supposed to be informed as to which garage would be carrying out the work, but the update of the booking confirmation didn’t include that. The implication was that someone from Fixter would be doing the driving for the pickup and return, but it was someone from the garage. So will I use them next year? I’m not sure.

Really efficient and good value service that I would definitely use again. The only reason I'm not giving 5* is because they have changed all my radio presets!

The garage carried out a full service along with an Mot..car was collected on time as agreed, driver was courteous and friendly. Would use again.

Excellent service from start to finish. Somebody from the team phoned me one month before my MOT was due, which I completely forgotten about! It was easy to book in, somebody came to collect the car from my house for free and dropped it back within two hours. The price was really reasonable service outstanding highly recommend

The ease of booking is great. Communication before collection was spot-on. For me, I was expecting a call as to when the driver was returning my vehicle, especially after an email to say car was done and they were awaiting a driver. I had no call and the driver arrived at a most inconvenient time.
