Amazing service. A warning light pinged on half way to the Lake District. Pulled off the motorway at Wigan, did a few checks and knew we were in trouble. Phoned a few garages with no luck. One recommended we try Rob at GTR, which happened to be just around the corner. Drove up at 4pm Friday on a Bank Holiday weekend. Rob took pity on our car full of children & camping equipment and agreed to look at it. Diagnosed the problem, badgered some poor supplier for the parts, and then a lovely young diesel specialist in his team worked on it for us for a couple of hours that night and came back at 6am the next morning to finish it off. By 10am we were back on our way to the Lakes. (Also recommend Premier Inn Wigan!! An unexpected, expensive stop. But it would have cost us way more to get towed all the way home and we'd have still needed to get the car fixed. The staff at the hotel and at the restaurant next door were fab.) Thank you Rob and your team. You were so kind and generous. You went way beyond what could reasonably be expected and we're very grateful.
Had an issue with my brake lights on my way up to Carlisle, pulled in at the Premier Inn to check them and upon realising they were working intermittently a guy recommended this garage. So I popped in to see if they could help and they very quickly diagnosed the problem and had it fixed within half an hour. Overall I was really pleased with the service, the price was really good and the guys there were lovely. Shame their not closer to Carlisle or I’d go back next time I have an issue with my car.
Car was due for service and then engine warning light came called garage about 430 Friday they advised needed checking and said I could go down straight away. Identify problem and booked me in for a service that Monday couldn’t ask for better service . Really friendly and honest and very fair price couldn’t rate higher and fully recommend
