from 146 reviews on GoogleI came to Whipps Cross Garage after a silly quote from Kwikfit to replace a wishbone. Kwikfit also, and in my experience always, they and tell you lots of things that need replacing that don’t. I thought I would try my local garage, and after looking at the reviews got them to replace my wishbone. In a separate incident months earlier I previously had a flat battery and need to have my car jump started, I went Kwikfit to get my battery checked and they said everything was okay, and then had a service with them and again battery was said to be okay. 2 days after my service battery was dead again. Whipps cross garage was able to diagnose the issue and replace my battery. I recommend this garage from good, old fashioned customer service, they call you when they say they will, run by two very experienced mechanics and are super helpful. If you’re like me and worried about not going to a named garage like a Kwikfit then I can assure you I have had very good service and will be coming back again!
Brilliant service. Always ask before they conduct any repairs or change things out. Will show you the parts they switched out afterwards and where the damage was. Saved me a lot of money on my old banger where other places would just take advantage. Can't recommend them highly enough.
I have been coming to this garage for MOTs for 6 years; recently I had trouble with my exhaust; only to find that the second hand car I bought 7 months ago is riddled with serious issues. Ali acts with complete honesty and integrity; and helped me make a really tough decision with my car. He goes above and beyond and I would happily recommend this garage to anyone! Thank you Ali!
This is the 4th time I’ve had the pleasure of using this garage. They are flexible, responsive, trustworthy and very fair. Car maintenance is a costly business but you never feel that they need your money, rather, they are professionals who offer a fair price with great advice. They know they have excellent reviews with mine added for good measure.
Took my car for an MOT. Really excellent experience from the outset with booking it in to taking it home. Would highly recommend.
