Booking was easy and fixter kept me up to date with where my vehicle was booked in and for when. Having the vehicle picked up and dropped off worked well as we only have the one vehicle and we both work full time. So getting it down to a garage and having to wait for it is difficult. The only slight issue was that the garage didn't collect our vehicle in the time slot specified, and hadn't notified us of the delay. However after speaking with a Fixter operator they got us an update and the vehicle was picked up within the hour.

Very straightforward process for booking. On the day, the mechanic phoned to say he was on his way at the prearranged time. Was kept informed throughout the day and the car was returned, again, at the prearranged time. Can’t fault Fixter or the garage. The work was done over two days instead…

The work was done over two days instead of one. It wasn’t the garages fault to be fair but Fixter’s communication was poor during the process. I would recommend using the scheme as it was cost effective and hopefully my brake pipes that were replaced out live the car.
