I had to find a local mechanic at fairly short notice. Leon answered the mobile number promptly. Even though it was a Saturday afternoon and he was busy, he listened and gave advice clearly as to how to proceed. This was promptly followed up by a written quote and I found the prices very competitive, so I booked in. I had to wait a day or two for availability, but I find that is fairly common and you have to factor it in, don't you. However, an appointment was efficiently made and communication after that was excellent. On the day of repair, I got a call from R at the office and my car was ready in a few hours. I got a professional invoice and business card upon payment ( which I always personally appreciate for my records), and this was followed up by email. In addition, Leon's business is family and team based, and I found them all charming. The atmosphere is down to earth, friendly but very professional. A big shout to team member W, who actively showed me the broken and corroded parts that were replaced.

This garage is literally amazing. I went in on spec for one issue and they identified another more serious issue while assessing the first. I waited while they sourced the parts (not easily available but they eventually found them) and they did the work efficiently and to a superb standard. I was waiting there for such a long time while the parts for the second issue were sourced that i started to panic about the final cost. When Daniel eventually gave me the bill, I couldn’t believe it. My car is a Volvo and the cost for the entire work was less than Volvo charge for one hours labour on its own. Gob smacked.
