Kia Picanto MOT

This is the second year in a row I have used Fixter. Aside from the competitive pricing, the service from both Fixter and IAuto in Croydon was fantastic. They collected and dropped my car and it was a seamless hassle-free service. Well done. Fully recommended.

Needed to book an MOT at very short notice. Came across Fixter for the first time and really appreciated the pick up service offered for the car. While the friendly mechanic from the garage picked it up, that was the end of the good news as my wheezy old wheels predictably failed the MOT. Cue the wallet heartburn as the myriad problems get an associated climbing list of repairs and diagnostics needed. However Fixter were very prompt in keeping me updated at every stage of this process by text, email and phone, not proceeding with any work without my go ahead. Their customer care personnel were very responsive over phone, with next to no waiting times and very promptly picking up my case with little prompting on my part. Though it took 2 days longer than I expected, when the car was duly returned to me, I have to admit I was left ruing why I didn't get these changes done earlier as it feels like a totally different car - for the better! Overall a very satisfactory first time using the platform. They were communicative, chose a reliable garage that have done an evidently good job, and it seems at a cursory glance offered a competitive price for all the various works done.

With my location it is difficult to find a garage and then get back to work so for it to be collected and dropped off is ideal for me. They collected my car on time, text me the repairs needed for the MOT, you can easily accept or decline minor repairs on your phone, then it was returned on time. Will definitely use this service again and would recommend.

Was very happy with collect and drop service especially with a busy work life you don’t need to worry about your car whilst in service or MOT check. Will recommend and will use for my next service.

The guys are really great, and took good care of my car! (mechanics & drivers) I've used their service more than once - MOT, Servicing & other work - and will use them again. Highly recommended. :) PS don't normally do reviews, but making an exception.

Highly recommend this as it makes an annual chore be easy! Especially for those who do not have a relationship with a local garage or know what/how to get things done!! Good and smoothe communication as I was at work and unable to pick my phone up to complete work needed. Very happy with this and will use again!

the only issue I have to mention is that the original quote price was changed (almost doubled from 450 to £850) and the original scheduled data had to be moved - I was notified about it and asked if I want to proceed so I can't really complain - but agreeing to the date and price from the beginning without any changes would've made for just smoother experience. Everything else went as well as it could have.

Garage was good price saved £300! Communication from fixture could be improved. But happy with final outcome as wanted genuine Audi parts which I paid more for. Still saved £300

The collecting driver broke down so the car wasn’t taken until much later but they still got it back on time and all done well.
