Fixter offers an excellent service. They collect your car, do the work necessary in this case it was an MOT & service. Once the work is complete they text you to tell you the latest news and then deliver your car back to you. They offer value for money too as their costs were reasonable. I will definitely be using them in the future.

Can't get more convenient than someone turning up, taking the car from the house for it's service and MOT and returning it a few hours later. No having to drive to a garage (often miles from anywhere or in the middle of an industrial estate), hanging around waiting, dealing with salespeople & receptionists, just book the service and pickup/drop off time online, make sure you're in when they come to collect the car and several hours later it's sat back outside the house whilst you've been busy getting on with your day. The garage did call me the night before to remind me I had my service and other than handing over the keys that's the only interaction I had with a real person. The price was reasonable too (compared to a main dealer), they do offer add-ons that can soon add up (premium oil change, deluxe MOT, etc.) but that's your choice and it's up to you if you don't fancy paying extra.

I was easily able to contact fixter for advice regarding the issue I had with the car and make specific arrangements prior to the garage collecting the car. This was my first MOT with Fixter and the attraction for me was the car being picked up and delivered back to my home, as I was recovering from a recent non-Covid related illness. I was informed both by phone and txt message of all that was happening and exactly when the car and relevant paperwork would be dropped back. It all ran on rails actually. I will be using this MOT service again, so long as the price stays competitive which it certainly is at present!
